MW Architects is a Pretoria based firm with
combined 65 years of residential, leisure
and light commercial project experience
across South Africa. The firm is headed
by Professional Architects,
Jaco Minnaar and Donette Werkman.
Jaco and his business partnerwife,
Enla Minnaar practiced as Minnaar and
Minnaar Architects for more than 40 years
together.
Over the years they have managed to build
an impressive and extensive residential,
leisure and heritage portfolio.
Donette headed her own firm, DWK
Architectural firm, just short of 15 years. Her
main focus is on residential design and
creating space for the soul! Jaco and
Donette combined forces in March 2017 to
form MW Architects.
The result is a vibrant partnership
combining Jaco’s solid experience and
Donette’s more youthful approach.
They are supported by an extensive drafting
office, hand selected for their experience,
software knowledge and dedication to the
profession and clients. The result is an
Architectural firm that offers an
professional architectural design and
service for an emergent truly South African
style.

DONETTE
WERKMAN-KRUGER
Donette has been in architecture for over 20 years. She juggles creativity with work, family and whatever her hands find to do.
She feels strongly about the Architect/client relationship and translating client's dreams into spaces.
JACO
MINNAAR
Jaco is the Wisdom of the firm. He has been in practice for over 40 years. He has in depth knowledge of the industry and down to earth practical solutions for the skyhooks Donette designs. He as a father, dad and proud grandfather to 4 grandkids.
